DSGB
I went fishing yesterday evening and, despite the wind, did pretty good. My buddy caught a few shad and a spotted bass. I caught a few small stiped bass and one that was a hair over 5 lbs. He was downstream when I hooked him, so the fight was on. One of the better fighting fish I've ever caught. I was using a chartreuse/yellow/white sassy shad. Here's a pic.
DSGB
Re: Striped Bass Yeah, but the meat is a bit tougher than a largemouth bass. I'm not too picky, though. Good eatin' for the most part.

I have caught several salt water stripers...Biggest was about 25-30 pounds...Awsome eating.
