maddhunter
Best I figure they are feeding at night, atleast here in NE OK. I and a friend of mine have been seeing only a few does late in the evening. Only have pics on trail camera at night about 2 hours after dark and 2-3 hours before light. Have been busted on plot 30min. before light.
PAbowhunter4life
Re: wheres the bucks??!?? We're in that dreaded October lull phase. They're sleeping all day basically and feeding @ night, then hitting their beds again real early in preparation for the rut ahead. Hang in there a few more days, one of the older does in your area is bound to come in to heat and that will change everything around

Bow Hunter Derek
Re: wheres the bucks??!?? I'm having the exact opposite problem. Where are the does?!?!?! I have bucks running everywhere on my ground. Most all 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 year olds so far (one good 3 1/2 year old 8 pointer too). I'm still waiting on the big boy. I have only seen 4 does all year so far. One I botched the shot on. One last night I had everywhere from 20 yards to under my stand, but she came out with only a couple minutes left and it was too hard to pick a spot on her, so I never shot. I'd just like to plunk a doe right now. I've got an itchy trigger finger from seeing all the small bucks running around.
