How about for waxing paint on a black vehicle (truck and motorcycle)? I personally never used to wax my old ATV as I never thought plastic needed polished but I guess I was wrong. I used to use Mothers Caranuba Wax on my motorcycle but that left a build-up over the years that needed to be buffed off. Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I never bothered waxing/polishing my atv...heck I hardly wash it. As for my truck or wife's car...I use (almost always) Mother's products. I do have some polish made by 3M that works well too. Will have to check the owners manual, but think I read somewhere they recommended using as mild a soap and water for cleaning as you could get, dont remember seeing anything about waxing. I give the plastic a liberal soaking of Armor All after each washing, and spray the underside of the fenders before each ride with either Armor All or WD40.
