Guest MarylandQDMA
Re: rod repairing? I talked to the mfg. and they won't touch it. he said that I'm better off buying a new rod! or finding a local rod builder/repair shop to replace the handel. he went on to say it still may be cheaper to get a new rod though. got news for you, it sour aint going to be one of theirs. might try the elemers (sp) wood glue first. RyanH
Re: rod repairing? Hey MDGC, if yourr gonna try to repair it yourself, you need to slint it. YOu need to get some kind of wood/metal rod. Hollow out the cork part! Stick the rod in both holes! Then glue it! it will be stronger!
