rod repairing?

does any one know where I can get a rod repaired? my cork handle broke on my UL last night wile fishing, any one know how I can go about having it fixed/replaced? if it's worth saying it is a shakespear (sp).

I talked to the mfg. and they won't touch it. he said that I'm better off buying a new rod! or finding a local rod builder/repair shop to replace the handel. he went on to say it still may be cheaper to get a new rod though. got news for you, it sour aint going to be one of theirs. might try the elemers (sp) wood glue first.

I would say if its just a shakespear I would just buy a new rod.Get a kistler, st croix or basspro.Those are my favorites.
