Snipe
Good day guys...I got up this morning to a cool 50 degrees and sunshine. I said to my self it would be a good day for a slow simmered pot of chili. So I was curious... How many of you like Beans in your chili ?? ...I prefer mine with out beans ..Ever since I was a young boy you were told Texas chili is the best and you don't put beans in chili... So I thought I would put up a poll and see what you guys perfer...
longislandhunter
Re: Chili I've never really had chili without beans so I would stick with using em. A friend of mine puts slices of green olives in his chili. First time I saw it I didn't think it would taste good but I was wrong,,, it gave it a nice kick. But I do prefer them without beans when you add a nice bunch of cheddar cheese into it, some hot peppers, then use it as a dip with some nacho's or somekind of corn chips! Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Bachflock
The only chili I know is made with beans. I know there is beanless chili out there but honestly I've never had it.

lil hunter
I hate beans in chili. Unfortunately, everyone else in my family likes them. I usually end up with a peanut butter and jelly on chili night around here.lol. Definetly no beans for me though. I do like noodles in it, but that doesn't seem too common around here.
