waterfowler_gal
What kind of video camera's do you use for your hunts? Where can one normally find a high quality cam without burning a hole in your pocket book?

birddog
Re: VIDEO TAPING YOUR HUNTS I have video'd a lot of stuff from my old Sony Hi-8: Problem being you have a tough time streamlining them to video: and you lose quality: I have a Digital 8 Sony It took some finding to get one that old: But it is the only one that had the mic input/output: This camera does it all: And is the backup for several T.V. shows I have worked with. This camera works great: I bought one on ebay for under 400 bucks and in my book, beats the newer ones: With Sony the #'s don't ascend or descend in order: so look for one with the mic inputs:
ParsonsOutdoors
Re: VIDEO TAPING YOUR HUNTS I started videoing for my hunting movies using a Panasonic PVDV 52D. I got it for 475.00 but you can now get the camera for about 300.00. I've since then upgraded to a Canon GL2. The difference in picture is amazing! You definately get what you pay for.
