RDNKHNTR77 Posted May 1, 2005 Report Share Posted May 1, 2005 Went out yesterday with my hunting partner for a morning hunt. Heard a lone gobbler going off and set up on him about 80 yds away. As soon as i called he shut up, flew down, and went the other way, but we werent discouraged. I used a crow call to try and get to him shock gobble and 4 of them sounded off behind us. All we did was turn around, i layed down a few yelps and cutts and they were in our laps. I couldnt get a shot because of some brush but i told my buddy to fire at will and he dropped a 16# jake.
