muggs
Over the weekend Kellen Winslow Jr. was hurt in a motorcycle accident. He was wearing a helmet, but it wasn't strapped and it fell off on impact. Only details they could give was that the injury was not life threatening. Go Pats!!!!!!! Tominator
Re: God hates Cleveland Well of course. He was a No. 1 draft pick, right. No. 1 draft picks in Cleveland either get traded 3 years later due to personnel problems, or terrible performance, or shredded knees (Winslow), or motorcycle accidents (Winslow again), etc. etc. etc. Don't you get it yet Eric. See, you still have hope. Hope is a good thing unless you're a Cleveland fan. Just accept your Clevelandness and move on with life buddy. Trust me, don't let them break your heart anymore. But hey we did produce Drew Carey, that makes be proud, how 'bout you

Man, don't do this to me, now you got me thinking of how good this team could be if we didn't have morons in control of our draft. I'm going to do some research on this. buckbuster11
Re: God hates Cleveland LOL....I'm trying to take it easy. I know the current state of affairs in Cleveland sports *cough Cavaliers *cough* has you guys a bit sour. I've said this before about the browns, as long as Winslow doesnt jump his motorcycle off a cliff, they should have a pretty good group of receivers. There is something to build on eh? muggs
Re: God hates Cleveland here's what I came up with, i realize hindsight is 20/20, but everyone was calling for these picks: 1999 1st pick overall -Tim "I can't buy a TD" Couch: should have bee NcNabb or Culpepper, would have taken either one 2000 2nd pick overall- Courtney "No Factor" Brown: should have been LaVar Arrington 2001 3nd pick overall- Gerrad "Alligator Arms" Warren: Should have been LaDamian Tomlinson 2002 16th pick overall- "Wrong Way" Willie Green: Should have been Clinton Portis, I mean Butchy did coach him in college, would have made sense. 2003 21st pick overall- Jeff "Never plays" Faine: should have been Willis McGahee, I mean another Miami boy, and the injury really has hurt his career with the Bill hasn't it??? 2004 6th pick overall- Kellen "I ride a motorcycle while rehabbing" Winslow Jr. not a bad pick if our coach and him had common sense 2005 3nd pick overall- Braylon Edwards: I'm not holding my breath
RDNKHNTR77
Re: God hates Cleveland We did pick up some decent linemen this off season which will help dilfer/frye out a lot. im more worried about the defense more than ne thing. but, as we all know, well get our hopes up and then they will come crashing down. o well, ill still be rooting for our brownies to beat those steelers. I'd be surprised. If they are still with the team, they're injured.

Everyone and their brother thought our pick was going to be Tomlinson, and even if you were going D-line, Richard Seymour was at the top of everyone's board....everyone's except good old Butchy. That guy screwed us hard bud. Not to metion Moddell moved one of the most storied franchises in the NFL for no reason, and what we got in return was a joke. It wasn't even a true expansion team, it wasn't set-up like the other recent expansion team. Browns fans were just happy to have a team back, that they didn't realize it was a sham. muggs
Re: God hates Cleveland No not Miami, Florida State, so Butchy did try to recruit him from high school way back when, and got a good look at him in college, which proves he had no clue what a good NFL player was all about. Kellon "Hellon Wheels" Winslow Update: This comes from reliabel source, so it's not official, but usually these things are truthful. -puntured lung -possible re-tear of the acl in his knee -major shoulder surgey -cracked rips -and a major head trauma Looks like he's going to miss the entire season!!! Which will cost him around 2.5 million. I think he has registered 5 receptions to date, by my caculations, that's roughly 8 million a grab. Not bad for yet another Brownies bust. Tominator
Re: God hates Cleveland Heard on the news this morning that the Clowns are considering legal action to get the signing bonus back based on the fact that players aren't supposed to "engage in hazardous activities." muggs
Re: God hates Cleveland Chris, from what I heard, last season cost him around 11 mil of incentives he would have earned if he stayed healthy and contributed. The Brownies, want the signing bonus back too, i belive that is the 2.5 mill, so this bum has lost well over 13 mil in two years. i think he deserves it, he was caught on video do wheelies and 50mph+. sounds like an effective rehad program huh?? he's no Anthony Fedorov i tell ya, hahahahahaha

I heard there is a clause in his contract that specifically addresses motorcycle injuries. If thats the case, he is going to lose all of his cash.
