muggs
they sell gobbler calls, it's basiccally a rubber tube that you shake to produce the gobble sound, simply and effective.
borch
Re: How to create a gobble? Can also be done on a boxcall with a rubber band around the box/paddle. You then grab either the box or the paddle and shake back and forth. Doesn't sound like much up close but it sound pretty realistic when you move away 30+ yards. Borch [/ QUOTE ] Yeah Borch that is the truth! My father does that with his box call! Sounds kind of funky up close, but when your 30-50 yards away its sounds so real. I believe he has this one, not sure though! If I was to buy a gobble call, I guess I would get this one here! So far this is the one I think sounds the best. The one below is from Primos. iron buck
Re: How to create a gobble? I have used both the rubber tube & box calls to duplicate gobbles., Either will work...but I much prefer the rubber tube.
Strut10
Re: How to create a gobble? Lots of good advice. You can also gobble on a diaphragm with practice. But the best I've found (if you think you gotta make a gobble) is to use a tube call. Not the rubber, shaker type.......but the kind with a diaphragm on top that you blow into. Some call it a "snuff box call". They will make an awesome gobble........up close or far away.
GobblerBuster618
Re: How to create a gobble? any of those ideas will work but you better make sure u are looking in all directions so if another hunter does respond to you gobbling u will be ready. BE CAREFUL IMITATING A GOBBLER!!
