elkoholic Posted May 3, 2005 Report Share Posted May 3, 2005 Well now, some of you are complaining about unwanted spam (not sure if there ever is wanted spam) possibly originating from being in the forums. If you have your email address in your profile (visible to others) then you are just asking for it. I suggest you limit the personal information you have in your profile. I would suggest to the commander and chief of the forums that access to members' profiles be limited to other members who are logged in. As some of you are aware, if you "Google" your user name you can pull up your posts and therefore your profile, and, not everyone who has access to your profile is a friend. For a bit of fun, try to Google your real name and see what comes up and if you are in the mix.
