robk
Re: little girl loses pet bunny rabbit i know what that means at one time my wife and i raised rabbits for the fun of it and she fell in love with a white rabbit we called razz and he was going to be breed buck and we had a dog next door that had been digging well razz got under the fence while the wife was doing some work in the back yeard and she went looking forhim and he had stuck his head under the fence she had missed the hole we usually found them and filled them. well their big dog got hold of him and broke his neck and i gbot a call on my cell with her in tears i mean big time like your little one and i went home grabbed a shovel and went to my neighbors yard as she tried to get him and the dog wouldn't let them get razz her and my son. well dad went next door ready to hammer the dog and i know him and i went and got him and brought him back to her and we had a funeral of sorts which i figure you did also then she lost interest in rabbits. so we went to dogs and it has been a good fit so far but i wilol hate see her when the dogs go hopefully from old age i thinkt he guinea pig will a better pet they aren't as near to escap like the rabbits do they will take off and someitmes you will lose them and have to run up and down trying to find them. when i had my flemish they couldn't escape they were huge so i knew if let them out inthe back yard they would be there when we went back out lol tell her to enjoy the pig they are easy and make sure you get them from a good breeder nd the little buggers will stay aroudn for a long time rob k

Washi
Re: little girl loses pet bunny rabbit I had a flying squirrel as a pet a few years ago. He also drowned in the toilet. I had found him swimming in the toilet the month before and told everyone to leave the lid down but my brother forgot and this time I didn't find him in time. Squirrelhunter91
Re: little girl loses pet bunny rabbit That's rough.. I lost my lizards under my neighbor's front porch. I took them out to show my buddies and then they just jumped.
Palssonater
Re: little girl loses pet bunny rabbit Death of a Pet is always a very tough thing. Sorry to hear about your family's loss. Guinea Pigs are great. She will have tons of fun with them. They can be paper trained too. We had one when I was younger that had a tickle spot, if you got him just right, he'd squeal, well....like a pig. HA HA

Turkeygirl
Re: little girl loses pet bunny rabbit Poor kid...My sister and I raise rabbits. After this winter, we are down to 5 rabbits. My one rabbit died, she was really old, then one of my sister's died, possibly from snuffles(a cold), then I found another of my rabbits, dead under the duck house. We have ducks and she hopped out through a hole in her cage and they basically pecked her and killed her!
