Benelli M1 Field

Re: Benelli M1 Field

As much as I hate to recommend a 12, I'd say the 12 because you mention waterfowl, and turkey. Crows might be a poke too with a 20, unless you're a good caller and can get them close.

Speaking of blackbirds--I need to eliminate a few in my field--they eat my sweet corn seedlings.

The Benelli is a decent gun.

Nice to know AJ likes the Benelli, I've had a Montefeltro 20 for about 5 years now--I love that gun.

Re: Benelli M1 Field

i'd go for the 12ga as well. like too_ said, its the most versitale gun of the two sizes. the 12ga ammo is cheaper than the 20ga too wink.gif mind you when i was down in the states, there wasnt much difference between the two, but up here in Canada, the ammo prices are a little cheaper for the 12ga.

Ditoo...I have the same gun in 12. Though I carry the O/U more now, its still one #$% fine gun. never had a jam yet in about 6-7 years
