PAhardwoods
Wow i'm sure a lot of you guys know this but I'm amazed at how hard it is to get guns from canada sent down to the states i'm sure same getting them from the states. I called a place in ON that had some savage 99's the man was really nice but told me the paper work could take 6-9 months thats crazy cody
fisherguy
Re: getting guns from canada is hard Actually its fast and easy to bring a gun from the us to canada, or buy a gun in the us and bring it here. Taking a gun to the us, or what you are doing is a ridiculous hassle. Whatever time they tell you for the permit...double it!
sureshot
Re: getting guns from canada is hard ya bringing a gun up here is no big deal jsut a bit of paperwork and a piece of paper saying youa re ok to have agun[at least for hunters coming up here] to go down there is next to impossable, I was asking at the border when we went across 2 weeks ago or so abotu going pheasant huntign in montana[60 miles or south of me] and the border guy said you better get your paperwork in now to have it by oct, that is just to cross the border with a gun, coming up here ti can be doen by the officer at the border as long as the gun has a serial number on it! fisherguy
Re: getting guns from canada is hard Sureshot the best is that you have to have a hunting license in the US to get the permit(for Canadians going to the us). In our case you can't get turkey licenses until a month before the season or so. So every December we have to buy a Missouri small game license(cheapest one in the US) so we can file the paperwork to hunt turkeys in nebraska. lol
