johnf
I've been looking at different guns for my wife for personal protection. I was wrestling between the Taurus pt22 the beretta bobcat and recently the kel-tec p380t. After talking with several conceal and carry instructers, I decided on this and picked one up for my wife today. It should be a lot easier for her to shoot in a panic, and packs a lot more punch than the 380 or 22lr so they say. I hope she likes it. What do you "real" handgunners think of the choice? hangunnr
Re: Didn\'t get either one. $225 is a little on the high side but if the gun is solid I wouldn't worry too much about it. hangunnr
slugshooter
Re: Didn\'t get either one. My fiance keeps bugging me to give her my Springfield XD 9, which is fine, she shoots it good anyway. I got my 1911 but I don't really want to carry that for concealment. I am leaning towards a sub-compact XD-40, the gun shop has one with a hi-cap for about 410.00 I think. I have to get my Uberti Cattleman .45LC out of layaway first though.
johnf
Re: Didn\'t get either one. What kind of accuracy should I expect out of this gun at 30 yards? I took it out today and kept pretty much every shot in a 10" cirlcle at 20-30 yards. Of course this is the first time I've shot a gun with this type sights and that short of a barrel. Is that ok? hangunnr
Re: Didn\'t get either one. I'd be more than thrilled with 10" accuracy at 30yds with full power carry ammo. Keep in mind you've only got 2 inches of barrel and a very short sight radius. This isn't much to work with. That's fine accuracy for a carry gun. hangunnr
johnf
Re: Didn\'t get either one. Cool, i didn't think I could should it worth a crap. I was trying to shoot coke bottles at 30 yards and chouldn't hit them for anything. When I put a target up all shots out of 20 except 2 or 3 were in a 10" area.
