Does anyone know of a competent rifle smith that could handle the repair on my Springfield bolt...

DSCN0875.JPG

I just got all the components together to finish my Springfield sporter. While trial fitting the action into the stock and checking for bolt clearance I cycled the bolt and the handle just lifted right off...........what a bummer. It has apparently been cracked for quite some time.

Anybody got an addy of a good smith that can handle this repair?

Re: Need some help...

ronin,

Thanks for the info. I went ahead and bought a new bolt off of eBay.

I may give them a call to see if they'd be interested in doing the finish work my rifle will need.

Too,

This is just everyday BS around here.......... laugh.gif
