muggs
I'm thinking about picking up a ground blind, so I can sit with my girlfriend while see tries to take her first deer this season. I'm looking at a few types, I'm wondering how those shoot-through screens work. Do they effect arrow\ flight? How do they hold up?

TreeWalker
Re: shoot-through screens?? I've got a double bull, and I shot my Antelope at 35 yards last year......no problem at all......but I like the double bull and their screens, because they are nice and tight.... muggs
Re: shoot-through screens?? thanks guys, I'm really looking forward to seeing her take her first deer, she's not sure if she'll have the heart to pull the trigger on the crossbow. I'm not going to pressure her, if she does she does. She says she doesn't want to shoot a doe, only a big buck. She thinks it's actually that easy, gotta smile at that sort of innocence huh? iminrut, can you shoot on angles etc...
hunter_mike
Re: shoot-through screens?? If you are going to get a blind get a double bull. for the shoot through screens they work pretty good. The guy on the double bull movie that came with our blind was shooting at forty yard through the screen like it wasnt there.
TreeWalker
Re: shoot-through screens?? I would try to keep as straight on as possible.......shorter ranges you could probably get away with a little sideways action.....
