Swamphunter
I have finally decide to add the whisker biscuit rest to my PSE Diamondback. I called my local pro shop guy and he has one right on the shelf and is going to put it on and then tune my bow for free! I can do it myself, but hey... if he is willing to do it, I'm willing to let him! I am bringing my buddy up there with me (bdboy53), and he is getting some new arrows and a release and stuff. Plus I am purchasing a small bow for my soon to be 5 year old to start learning on. Gonna be a good day when I get up from sleeping...(working midnights right now). LifeNRA
Re: Adding the Whisker Biscuit today! Thats cool Ken! I put on the Drop Tine Whisker Biscuit. Didnt care for the one that has the round shaft. I thought if it gets bumped it might move. Could you please tell me which bow your going to get for your little one? My daughter still wants to get one so we can play!

Swamphunter
Re: Adding the Whisker Biscuit today! Well I got the biscuit on and I do love it so far! Tends to squeak just a tad when I draw the arrow through it...is that normal?? The proshop guy said as it wears a bit, it will quite down. Is this correct?? Thanks

VTbowman
Re: Adding the Whisker Biscuit today! Some shafts squeek and some don't I noticed my Gold Tips did but only on the logo spot of the arrow where its shinny. Try to wipe your shafts down with a green scrubby. Not to rough them up, just to take the sheen off a little. Good Luck!

I noticed my Gold Tips did but only on the logo spot of the arrow where its shinny. Try to wipe your shafts down with a green scrubby. Not to rough them up, just to take the sheen off a little. Then wipe the entire shaft down with silicon. Also its wise to hose your biscut down with silicon to keep it from getting and staying wet. This second piece of advice will become very important once it starts gettting New York cold again. LOL Hard to get vanes threw a frozen biscut. Good Luck! buckee
Re: Adding the Whisker Biscuit today! I haven't noticed any noise on mine, but I trimmed the back of my biscuit, which might have made the difference...not sure. I don't think it's a noise you will have to fret about. Guest antlers21
Re: Adding the Whisker Biscuit today! Noise can be related to arrow being to tight in biscuit or finish of arrows can make noise.
Swamphunter
Re: Adding the Whisker Biscuit today! It has already quieted down a bit. I think either my arrows had something on them or the rest, but after about 50 arrows I noticed quite a difference already.
