Ive got a lever action Winchester model 94 30-30, and Ive got a scope to put on it but cant figure out which mounts to buy? Any help would be appreciated. David_218
Re: 30-30 scope mount If your Model 94 is one of the newer "Angle Eject" then there should be 4 mounting screw plugs on the top of the receiver. Remove these and buy some proper Weaver mounts and rings. If your M-94 is one of the older ones then the rifle will have to be drilled & tapped and the scope will be a "side mount" as to not interfer with the ejected shells. snapper
Re: 30-30 scope mount Yep...David pretty much got it. I have a model 94AE...just remove the screws (plugs) and install the mounts.
RangerClay
Re: 30-30 scope mount B-Square mounts are nice if you don't want to drill and tap the gun Ranger
