hunter_mike
Re: Getting back to full draw If you are having trouble getting your bow back, you should lower your draw weight to a comfortable weight. The best way to get a stronger bow arm is to just shoot and shoot and shoot. Another thing to do to improve your draw weight is to pull your bow back and just hold it there and do this repetitively. But the best way is to shoot your bow because you build accuracy as you build strength.
6sixpoint_nobrows
Re: Getting back to full draw push-ups!! that may sound kind of typical but it works, do a lot of push ups, it really helps, i work out for football and basketball so i dont really have a problem pulling what i want to pull...but push ups really do help. Pinwheel5
Re: Getting back to full draw You should use the large muscles of the back to draw the bow back and less arm and shoulder muscle. When you pull back try to "push" it back instead. Meaning, try to imagine someone is behind you with their hand against your drawing elbow and you are trying to push their hand straight back. This enganges the larger back muscles and is the proper way to draw.
lil hunter
Re: Getting back to full draw if you can't get back to full draw, you need to lower your draw weight some. Then, as said earlier, just keep shooting. The more you draw your bow, the stronger your muscles will get.
