dogdoc
Re: Fletch your own arrows??? yep----i've been fletching mine for a while. I use a single jo-jan. Straight clamp for a slight offset fletch
JimPic
Re: Fletch your own arrows??? I've been using the same fletching jig for years with left-wing helical clamps. The Jo-jan is quick and does a real nice job. Can't remember the last time I had someone build me arrows. Swamphunter
Re: Fletch your own arrows??? I use the Bitzenberger Dial O' Fletch I actually get enjoyment out of doing it myself. I also reload for the same reasons. I have been using this same clamp now for probably 15 years and it has never given me a bit of problem. The only problem I do have is sometimes I have trouble finding raw shafts.
AaronS
Re: Fletch your own arrows??? Been doing my own for about 10 years. Grayling single fletcher. Have both straight and right helical, mostly use the straight with a slight offset.
christsavedme
Re: Fletch your own arrows??? I have been wanting to start doing my own, just never went out and bought the stuff to do it. Swamphunter
Re: Fletch your own arrows??? Most any of them are pretty good nowadays...I really like my Bitzenberger, but there are cheaper ones out there.
VermontHunter
Re: Fletch your own arrows??? [ QUOTE ] Going this weekend to bass pro shops to buy a fletching jig!!Any brand u recommend? [/ QUOTE ] Bitzenberger Dial O' Fletch IMO is the best on the market....Tho I use the Jo-Jan single at the moment.... Yep, love fletching my own arrows,,,,beats having to wait until you have enough of the damaged ones to bring to the proshop,,,and besides you get to experimant with different configurations and it's fun to do.. MCH
Re: Fletch your own arrows??? The Bitz is probably the best one on the market today. I chose the Jo Jan for the fact that I can do 6 arrows at once. I bought a used one on ArcheryTalk, cheap!
Guest antlers21
Re: Fletch your own arrows??? I too use the bitzenberger and love to make arrows. I make a few dozen a year for friends and myself. I like to make different looks with dipping and cresting.
Gus
Re: Fletch your own arrows??? I also use the Bitzenberger Dial O' Fletch with a right clamp. I do my arrows plus some for a couple of cousins also.

I need to start doing it on my own I took in 3 arrows a while back to be refletched and the dude charged me $15 and he did a horrible job. There was globs of glue everywhere. Tominator
Re: Fletch your own arrows??? Used to when I shot aluminum. I haven't tried carbons yet. It was fun. I used to do it in the dead of winter to help with the blues.
lil hunter
Re: Fletch your own arrows??? I have an Arizona EZ Fletch. I like it, but if I ever get another, I'm gonna get something different. you can't really adjust anything on the EZfletch, and it puts a MAJOR helical on the fletches.
