NS whitetail
Re: monster lobsters [ QUOTE ] are those the breeder females, ns? do you release them, or keep them? [/ QUOTE ] those 3 are all males and at $7 per pound they don't get released the only lobsters we have to release are seeded females ( carrying eggs ) and any lobster with a body size shorter than 3 1/4 inches. I'll get some pics of both soon to show what I mean.

Palssonater
Re: monster lobsters Awe, that's too bad. I want to come to Nova Scotia for a trip and wanted to find these places with like 5 dollar meals. I guess this is impossible because of contracts and stuff. That is what I found was great when I was in Mexico. The freshest shrimp you ever ate was like 6 pesos a meal. That's like $1 canadian. Beer was 60cents and rum was 2$bottle.... *burp*

Turkeygirl
Re: monster lobsters $7 a pound? What a rip-off in NY. In the Tops market they charge $12 a pound and most of the lobsters they get, the biggest is 2 lbs if your lucky but they are Maine lobsters.
