Bow Hunter Derek
They likely know something is up. If they are going the same general direction or have a prefered direction, I'd suggest that you get in very early, sit down, no decoys and DO NOT call. Just sit there, watch, and listen. Hopefully, you'll cut them off and get a shot. If they don't come your way, then try and circle around them to get in front. But I'd say that calling is killing your hunt right now. This tactic worked for a buddy of mine a couple weeks ago. The birds had been worked so hard that they wanted nothing to do with calls or decoys. He shot the bird when the bird was just simply walking from point A to point B. It becomes more like deer hunting than turkey hunting when the birds start acting like you described. Good luck. Fullfan
Re: Three birds... Try to get in tight, use a old wing and scratch a tree and do a fly down. Do not call to them!!!!!!!! They might come in looking. Have had good luck doing this in the past. Keep us posted.
James7xChamp3
Re: Three birds... Sit tight in the area you know they are at. Maybe a couple soft yelps after fly down and just watch.....and watch......and watch..... Hope you have some luck!
