Did anyone watch the movie...

Supersize ME? I had to watch that for my Exercise Phsyiology class. I have to say it grossed me out and actually now my family, we rarely eat at McDonald's after the movie. Actually the most we would eat there was maybe once a week when out shopping but not anymore, lol! Seriously it was amazing to hear about the sugar in the soda, how it effected his body, physically and mentally. Fast food is some of the most unutritious food (though we stil eat it once in awhile). For an average woman, 2500 calories is the daily requirement, I think it is like 3000 for an average male. Ok, I'm getting into what I learned in class, lol. So I was just wondering what people's opinions were on this movie if they saw it? Did it change your thoughts, where you eat, or did you think it was a bunch of useless info?

I saw it, and he is a moron. OF course if you order only the unhealthy stuff, in monstrous portions, and eat nothing else for a month it will mess you up. Like anything fast food in moderation isn't that bad(not good for you by any means). Also McDonalds and most other places now have a pretty good selection of healthier food to choose from. Maybe i should turn these stupid college adventures into a movie and make millions! laugh.gif

Re: Did anyone watch the movie...

McDonald's healthy options are not so healthy if you check their sheets. I think it made a difference at first. The whole reason this guy made this movie was because McDonald's put out a statement saying that their food was healthy and is a balanced diet. I thought the guy did a great job with the movie. He had to eat everything on the menu once before he could start over again. He could only supersize if he was asked. He did not cheat McDonald's. He simply used their own tactics against them.

I seen it and think the guy did a good job at it. It never changed my views of Mc Donalds or any other fast food joint. I rarely eat that crap anyways.
