While looking over the favorite gun post I was undecided over which one I would choose. I really dont have "one" that stands out. Here is a custom job job that I built about 10 years ago. The rifle started out as a 30-06 Rem 700 BDL in 1976.It was my second big game rifle.Last week while looking over different post about camo cladding, dipping, and painting firearms I got the urge to re-paint this one. While as some of you are aware of you can sink alot of money into one and never get the money back from it, specially a wildcat like this one. So I chose to paint the whole rifle since I most likely wont be getting rid of this one.

Remington trued 700 BDL action

McMillan Win 52 stock,pillar bedded

Holland recoil lug

Hart Match SS OTC barrel 31 1/2" long .870" at the muzzle

Arnold Jewell trigger

Leupold 6.5x20x50 Vari X III scope

Harris biopd

Caliber 6.5 Gibbs otherwise a maximumly improved 6.5-06

Paint job...Krylon and myself crazy.gif

It shoots very well and is a death ray on deer, though it tips the scales at 13 lbs shocked.gif
