Guest ronin
Anyone out there know any distributers stocking the Remington 700 XCR's yet? I need one in 300 RUM and 7mm RUM.
Guest lilcrackshot
Re: Remington 700 XCR Cabela's is I think. I went up there about a month ago and they said they would be getting some in soon. Go with the 300 RUM.
bearcat
Re: Remington 700 XCR I haven't checked with any dealers yet. I am sure there will be plenty around when deer season nears.I can't wait to get my hands on one, and see how it feels in my hands with the new stock. The 700 CDL is one of the sweetest rifles I have ever held. I hope the New XCR's will feel almost as good. Price wise, my guess is that they will run about $700-$750 dollars on dealer shelves, considering msrp is a little less than the discontinued Stainless Fluted Senderos. Guest ronin
Re: Remington 700 XCR I think this gun will be lighter and slimmer than the sendero. I can't wait to see them!
tped
Re: Remington 700 XCR I have one on order now. Have not heard when it is expected to be in. Ordered in 375 H&H. My price is $660. Yeah, I know all about the controlled round feed on big bore rifles but the Winchester was not available either, nearly $100 more and virtually no one else chambered the 375 in stainless plus the fact that the Remingtons flat out shoot. bearcat
Re: Remington 700 XCR The 700 XCR will have a standard magnum contour barrel like the 700 BDL SS, BDL, LSS, etc. in magnum calibers. It should weigh around 7.5 lbs. If the magnum calibers are selling for $660.00 dollars, this will be a great buy. The Remington catalog lists them at $893.00 for Magnums and $867.00 for standard calibers. Thats about $230.00 less than MSRP. I would defineatly like to have one in either 7MM Rem. Mag. or .300 Ultra Mag.
Guest ronin
Re: Remington 700 XCR Yep, that is a good price. I just bought the 300 rum in the Savage 116 with accu-trigger. Never shot the caliber before...pretty impressive size. I will probably be glad I bought a decelerator butt pad!
tped
Re: Remington 700 XCR Just talked to my dealer this afternoon and he found one somewhere and it is on the way. Should be to him by end of week. I won't be able to get up to get it for another week or so as he is 2 hours away but looking forward to it. Obviously they are available.
