Feeling rough!

Hey guys: Ever since coming here, I have been a teacher! When I joined the site, I was teaching, I shared many memories of teaching here, etc. Well....I changed professions this past year, and I really love my new job...You wouldn't believe how stress free it is compared to teaching! No worries, or who is mad at who, parents calling, etc. HOWEVER...as I see the end of the school year coming to an end...let me say...I know remember why I taught! Let me tell you, 3 more months, and I may be begging for my teaching job back! grin.gif

For all of you teachers, and students....enjoy your summer vacation! I'll miss it dearly!

Yeah we had school. It snowed 365 days of the year and we had to walk uphill, 10 miles to school, and uphill 10 miles home, in 5 feet of snow. To top it off we had to collect coal or chop firewood on the way too school and collect it on the way home, so Mom could cook supper. grin.gif

And it wasn't easy finding that fuel for the fire in 5 ft of snow either eh. grin.gif

WHAT! Your Mom cooked the dinner!!!

I walked 10 miles to school,

uphill both ways

in 6ft of snow with 12 ft drifts,

365 days a year

and not only collect the fuel and build the fire but cook and do the dishes afterwards too!!!

You had it easy man! mad.giflaugh.gifcrazy.gif
