BowtechTurkeyHunter Posted October 23, 2004 Report Share Posted October 23, 2004 This TV show sucks that Shawn Chatham is one of the worste ppl I have ever seen do a hunting show he takes very unethical shots quatering too and such running with a shell in the chamber after a shot a bull elk ... this guys is the kinda guy that John Kerry would hunt with ... Im sorry but this guy is the same guy who shot a deer at 50 yard with a hi power quatering too him over a pile of buck grub and then said he made a great shot... Im so sick fo ppl like this being alowed too do a hunting show... I love the outdoor channel and 99% of the hunters do it right Im here too tell yo this guys is a freaking joke I trully hope he doesnt get a second season ... one of his sponsors is alpine archery I personally will not buy there products because of this joke of a hunter ... Think she also co-hosts the show. I guess about a month ago on that show she killed a pretty nice whitetail. Have seen several shows where I do not agree with the shots that are taken. Saw some guy on a show just yesterday take a really long shot on a deer running and it looked to also be a skyline shot. Guess some people will take any shot. Not something I would ever do. They also have a brunette hottie whose name I can't recall. One thing I've noticed about this show is that every place they hunt seems to be a high dollar high fence type area. No open country average Joe hunts like you see on Realtree, Primos, Great Outdoors, Drury Outdoors, etc. Like most have hinted at, the main thing running through my mind while watching that show is "Dang, I can do that and I can do it better." [/ QUOTE ] I saw that too. Can't remember which one it was. Between the Men's Channel and the Outdoor Channel, there are A LOT of crappy hunting shows out there. About the only one I enjoy is the Primos show. Realtree is good, but until they stop all the fake cut away shots of the hunter drawing and/or stalking, I refuse to buy anymore ot the Realtree videos. [/ QUOTE ] Just my opinion guys but what this show did it was wrong. It was not like a set of stairs or anything, it was a ladder. Do as YOU wish... doesn't affect me. Just don't get upset if I refer to something I saw in a show. Remember, I never critized YOU and still haven't. It is ONLY my opinion. I simply stated that I saw it. When I did get the TOC, whenever they'd actually have a female on hunting, why all the stinking make-up? The perfume will scare all the deer away,lol Seriously, I see the make-up and want to puke, I have and never will wear any. Dream Season is a great show, though. In fact, I told my wife they should have a reality show for hunting and literally the next day Dream Season's first episode appeared. Luckily I work from home and have been able to see most of the episodes (9am-9:30am) However, I do realize it is one big commercial for Drury Outdoors and Scent Lok.
