bowhunt101
Well boys, I told yall about goin to the pro shop yesterday and gettin my sights right and new carbon arrows and all and then I took my bow out and was practicin in the backyard today and for some unknown reason somethin else had to go wrong. Makes you wonder if bows are the right way to go or not but Im still gunna stick with it cus I enoy it so much. Heres my problem. I draw back to shoot and when I let it go my cables jump off the rollers. Dont know why it is happening but it is. Every time the cables jump off, vibrating the bow and sending my arrow haywire. Just really aggrevating and frustrating so I guess as soon as I get some more spare change Im gunna head back up to the pro shop (what an excuse to go back up there and see what he can do with it. Thanks in advance for any information on why this is doin this and I appreciate it. takemeasy and have a good one.-tim
too_pointer
Re: another problem bowhunt, can you refresh our memories on what type of bow, and if you have the rollers that came with it ? Did you shoot it at the store ? It sounds like you did if you had sights put on it. I wonder if you are torquing (sp) heavily on your grip too_
tedicast
Re: another problem Did you happen to drop the bow, and damage, or bend a cam or a wheel? How are you getting it back together after this happens?
Guest antlers21
Re: another problem It would take a lot for this to happen if I a imagining this correctly. I would not shoot this bow anymore and have the proshop shoot it for themselves and how do you get the string back on, you obviously have a bow press. buckee
Re: another problem [ QUOTE ] my cables jump off the rollers [/ QUOTE ] I take it your talking about your cables jumping off your cable slide roller system, not your wheel or cam. It sounds like you need to get that roller slide looked at and replaced, or perhaps you have your cables in there the wrong way. Take it down to the bow shop and explain it to them. They should be able to tell at a glance what's going on.
