Chrud
...screwed up a perfectly good race track. That is the worst race I've seen in quite a while. See what making the cars go faster and really making the race a one groove track does. Charlotte was a fairly decent two groove track before this year. Now, the high line is best in 1 and 2 and the low is best in 3 and 4. You get cars that end up having to try to make something happen by doing cross-overs and other agressive moves, plus a ridiculous aero package and you end up with 22,000 cautions. I feel bad for the folks who paid money to go to that race.

Chrud
Re: Humpy Wheeler... It was way too hard to pass. The cars went a lot faster, but the side-by-side racing that the grinding was suppose to produce was absent. That is why people were hitting each other and doing cross overs and so on. tedicast
Re: Humpy Wheeler... Have to agree with you 100% here Chrud. all the money Humpy spends on his pre race show, he needs that track resurfaced, and quick! There is no need for that to happen with the money he and his corporations make off these races.
Chrud
Re: Humpy Wheeler... He tried to make Charlotte be a replica of Atlanta. Atlanta seems a lot wider than Charlotte. OK, I said it wrong. The passing was ok, but it wasn't solid side-by-side all race. Like Mikey said, faster cars does not equal better racing.
