Guest antlers21
Re: bow option tough choice, both are great bows. If it was me I would go with the bowtech but all you are going to get is opinions. You cant go wrong with either bow.
Guest Buck Magnet 007
Re: bow option richard, Both bows are top notch and great choice, but you must remember that the BowTech Allegiance is not a dual cam or cam and half style bow. The Equalizer Bianary Cam system is un-like any other in that the buss cables aren't attached at the top of the limbs, rather they are just attached to the cams which allows the cam system to compensate for any differances, it pretty much just adjusts it self into tune. I have shot the V-Tec and I own the Allegiance! Like I said, they are both great bows, but in my eyes the Allegiance stands about the V-Tec by having less hand-shock and noise with more speed. Right now I am getting 311 f.p.s. with a 393 grain arrow, that is screaming. Whatever you do, shoot them both before making a decision and just pick what feels best to you! buckee
Re: bow option If I were you, I'd try them both out and buy the one that feels right for you. Like said above, "they are both great bows"

Guest bowhunter42
Re: bow option Thanks alot guys for the info. I've shot both bows and I like them both but one really stood out. The Hoyt was nice, it was quiet, smooth, and had very little hand vibration. But the BowTech was sweet, it was quiet with no vibration what so ever and felt smooth. I was very impressed. So I think I'm going with the BowTech. So any suggestions on what the best arrow would be to stay around 360 and 400gr. with 100gr broadheads. Guest Buck Magnet 007
Re: bow option Good choice richard, Right now I am shooting 28.5" Gold Tip XT Hunter 75/95's out of my 30" 70# Allegiance! Typically the BowTechs like a slightly stiffer spine than other bows as they generate more energy! If you want some really good arrows, look at the Gold Tip Pro Hunters, I have used these in the past but decided to try the XT's to see if they were a better deal, but the XT's aren't nearly as high quality as the Pro Hunters!
