Piebald

My uncle told us there was a piebald behind his house a few weeks ago, and I set out with my Trail Timer hoping I would get pics of him. I set it on a heavily-used stream crossing close to where he was seen, I figured if we were gonna get a pic of this deer it would be there. And wouldn't you know it? On the very first roll I took from the stream crossing, we got a photo of it! What's more we confirmed it was a buck. This is now my all-time favorite cam photo, the scan is a little poorer in quality than the actual print, but I'm going to do some adjusting to fix that.

got a few pics of bucks with devloping antlers, this is one of the better ones of the bunch.

I seldom get airborn photos, this is one of the best I've ever gotten. Clearly, I have to do something about the branch that I didn't think was going to interfere with the flash.

Re: Piebald

thanks everyone, if I get the chance I'll probably pop him. This is the third piebald I've heard of in our area, I saw a different one last year that was almost pure white, and another hunter saw a similar one across town. This is the first time we've ever had one in our hunting area though, my uncle has seen him twice now in the same general area, so it seems he is sticking around.
