camelNS
We have been having some luck with the stripers so far this season. My buddy and I have caught around 25 or so stripers with 6 being keepers.Only two were kept. All others were released. The biggest being 19.9.lbs and 37 1/4" followed by a 16.lb 33" bass. The other four keepers were in the 6-8,lb range. There was a 30.lb bass caught last weekend by a fisherman where we go and also another 10 pounder. Here is the 19.9.lbs striper I caught followed by the 16.lbs striper my buddy got.

DSGB
Re: Stripers Nice fish! The biggest I've caught down here was around 7 pounds, but they do get a little bigger. They put up a heck of a fight, though!
VABuckSlayer
Re: Stripers That's a nice Striper! We catch some big ones in the Chesapeake Bay here. Not uncommon to see fish in the 45"-48" range and weighing 40-50 lbs. Rare to catch them that big in the rivers though. Great pics!
