preacherman
I am currently looking into getting a bowtech bow. Any suggestions?
MUDRUNNER
Re: Bowtech Bows I bought a Liberty in January and like it a lot.It has got to be one of the smoothest bows to draw and shoot ever made.It has very little hand shock and a solid back wall.I heard a lot of good things about the Alleigence too,but I'm afraid to shoot one for fear I would want to buy it. Rayzorp
Re: Bowtech Bows Patriot,, NO complaints.. I've yet to take it hunting but so far it's been great in the 3d shoots, saving my spare change to buy a switchback as a backup
Washi
Re: Bowtech Bows I myself shoot an '04 Mighty Might and really like it. The local shop says their best seller is the Tomkat because even though it isn't as fast as the other Bowtechs, it shoots nice plus costs less. AaronS
Re: Bowtech Bows I bought a Bowtech Liberty several weeks ago. I shot both the Liberty and Allegiance before buying and there was no comparison. The Liberty was much smoother to draw and felt like you were drawing less weight even though they were set the same. Guest Buck Magnet 007
Re: Bowtech Bows Well, I personally own an Allegiance and I have owned a Mighty Mite and Liberty in the past. My girlfriend has a Miranda and my best-friend has a Ex-VFT. I have shot the BK II, Pat SC, Pat DC, Justice, Old Glory and Independance. Everyone of them is a great bow, but for me the Allegiance is the winner. This bow has a ultra-smooth cam system even though it feels more like the actual draw weight than the Freedom cam. This thing is whisper quiet and dead still after the shot. Getting 311 f.p.s. with a 393 grain arrow ain't too bad either. I would say that your best bet is to figure out what you need the bow for. Ground blind hunting? Stand Hunting? 3-D? Then narrow the field down by looking at the bows with the specs that fit your criteria. After that, go shoot them and pick the best feeling one!
