MCH
Re: Heartland Triple Crown Good luck, Tony....just remember, none of that matters as long as you "whoop" Ryan at this years Oklahoma Showdown.... Seriously, though, shoot straight.
Tony
Re: Heartland Triple Crown i had to friends shoot today at St Joseph Missouri . when they got back they told me they shot great .. both shot hunter class... jeff shot 405 with 18 ---11s ! and Bob shot 387 with 13 --11s... they still have a bunch of shooters to shoot sunday but im sure they will place pretty well in the ranks of there class... i went out and did 3 hours of range estimation after helping out at the shop... i had to get some work in before the bad storms hit.. looks like tomorrow is going to be soggy and muddy as heck... but no rain in sight.... MCH
Re: Heartland Triple Crown Turkey, I know I'm not Tony, but what I do is just take a stroll in the woods with my range finder. I stop frequently and pick out trees or stumps and try to guess their yardage. I try to mix it up and not just estimate flat terrain. It makes a difference! Tony
Re: Heartland Triple Crown TC , i have 5 parks near where i live.. i walk the trails estimating range and then use a rangefinder to check my estimates.. i have been keeping a log of the estimates and the real yardage .. to try to find what tendancies i might have.... but i need a lot more estimates to really get consistant...
