Pendulum or Pin sights?

I am really considerin switchin to a pendulum just because of the almost sure shot from 30 yards and closer. That's the distance I feel comfortable with shootin. I currently have a pin sight and have tried set the pins to 30 yards. But it just doesn't give me the confidence. What does anybody else hunt with and is the pendulum the way to go. And I only plan on huntin from a tree stand. Thanks.

I've heard pendulum sights are only good from huntin from tree stands. Their recommended to be only used in tree stands.

Re: Pendulum or Pin sights?

When I first started bowhunting I had a pendulum and loved it. I can't tell you how many deer I killed with that sight. Now I have pins and like that aswell. I have often thought of changing back to a pendulum now that I don't hardly ever shoot competitions anymore. There are lots of pendulums that are new and improved. It is really just a personal choice. Shoot both and see which one you like the best! JMO
