SaskMan
Re: sask boys, and girls Meadow Lake park has about 25 lakes to choose from, some big some small, all nice. There are great fishing opportunities and hundreds upon hundreds of camping sites. Some electrified and set up for campers, some non electrified for tenting. Not sure what you'd be interested in doing if you came up here but if you had any thoughts I could maybe steer you to one place more suitable than the others. SaskMan
Re: sask boys, and girls I thought I'd add that if mini golf is a necessity then Greig Lake in Meadow Lake park is a necessity. It is a nice lake with fishing and boating opportunities galore, nice and clean water. The pool would be out if you came here but the beach at Kimball Lake is second to none that I've ever seen. In that area you may see bears, deer, moose, elk, and other small game. Anyways, there are som many lakes to check out in the park, it'll make your head spin. Guest BeerSlayer1
Re: sask boys, and girls In N.W. Sask. I would have to say that Kimball Lake is an excellent choice. The beach and campground are great and you have easy access to many other nearby lakes. When we were there last, we were having an ice cream at the Kimball Lake store and a teenager walked up with a 17 lb jack that he had caught in the 3rd Mustus Lake. The kid was grinning from ear to ear and enjoying the attention that comes with catching the fish of a lifetime when a guy walked up with a 23 pounder. The poor kid had his thunder stolen and I've always felt sorry him. I would suggest you make a reservation as Kimball will probably be full on the long weekend (tons of Ab. People). Guest BeerSlayer1
Re: sask boys, and girls Ummmm, I've got a good story about a lady losing her bikini top in Kimball, but I think I'll tell that story another time!
superguide
Re: sask boys, and girls Meadow Lake Provincial Park has everything you need Brett-in fact if you can't find a camping spot let me know-we can maybe cram you in the family cabin's lot-depends if the in laws are using it. We just went through the park fromwest to east today had an awesome time lots of good bear pics-Ty got a 3lb walleye. As for horseback riding we've got lots of broke horses at our place-a nice hike is the petahagan loop just west of kimball lake-about 12 km but you see some nice country. Face it Brett one trip up to god's country you'll be trying to get a northern son-in-law lol.

superguide
Re: sask boys, and girls The Greig Lake sites aren't too far from the minigolf -campsites 1-32 are the closest-they are right along the lake but you better book soon-the first loop are right along the lake. If you can't get a campsite my friend has a guest cabin right along the waterhen river-I'm sure he'd let you camp there-also has canoes and stuff. Everything at Grieg is in easy walking distance even for me lol.

superguide
Re: sask boys, and girls I'd book it right away online Brett if I were you-they have that reserve-a-site deal I think. You go within 3 miles of our place when you go to the park. If you need somebody to stake your claim just let us know I'll get the kids to pitch a tent there. But I'd for sure book ahead. Were only half an hour from Greig Lake itself.

superguide
Re: sask boys, and girls Sounds good. Those sites aren't real close to beach but the ones by the lake you can swim off of. Looking forward to the elk roast I've never tasted one of them yet-guess cause I've never shot one lol.
