Depends on the weather. If its dry, I pull the ignition source and wait till the next hunt. If it is damp, raining, etc., I pull the bullet and powder charge when I clean it after hunting. I remove the breechplug and push the pellets and sabot/bullet through. Follow this with a good cleaning. Typically, I don't just fire it off, unles its the last day.

If the humidity is low, I keeep it loaded for about three or so days before dumping. If its raining, I dump it. When it's cold, don't take your gun in and out of the warm house out to the cold, then back to warm house...could cause barrel to sweat. I leave mine, un-primed, on my enclosed un-heated porch. wink.gif
