Guest bowhunter56
Anyone ever used the tekan or tekanII? how do they fly, penetraton, how well do them open, any negatives.
MCH
Re: Tekan broadheads question I haven't shot the Tekans but my friends say they shoot just like their field points. I'm not sure what to think about the rear opening blades, but they haven't had a problem with them yet. I might go with the Montec's this year or I might just stick with my NAP Spitfires...great broadhead!
christsavedme
Re: Tekan broadheads question My brother-in-law shoots the tekans and loves them. He shot a doe last year and I was pretty impressed with the damage. She was at 35 yards and he shot a little too forward, went through both shoulder blades and complete pass through. She didn't run but about 50 yards......impressed me!
Guest KSNimrod
Re: Tekan broadheads question You may check before buying the original Tekan as I believe it was ruled a barbed broadhead by a few states. I think they altered the design of the Tekan II in part because of that. Looks like it would be a great broadhead to me!
