I thought I was doing pretty darn good, had a 5 fish limit that weighed 15 1/2 lbs and had a 4.14 for big bass. Didn't even get close to winning! It took over 17 lbs to win and big bass was over 5. There's a powerplant there, but it's been mothballed for about 2 years, so it's just like any other lake now. No more hotwater discharge. Have the bass in Texas finished spawning yet? We caught some yesterday evening that looked like they just finished. Water temps in the ponds we were fishing was in the low 80's with all this "Texas" weather we've been having lately!
