Tominator Posted June 27, 2003 Report Share Posted June 27, 2003 Re: Media at it again i hear ya william. ask any news anchor and i'd be willing to bet 90 to 99% of them couldn't tell you what a "high powered deer rifle" was. it would've been nice if she just named the caliber and let the public decide if one could use that on deer or not. they just shoot their mouths off and call it "objective" because it's easier to call it a deer rifle and not dig a little to find out the caliber. I think it has a lot to do with their lack of knowledge on anything to do with firearms. We have had countless shootings around the Tulsa area lately. The news is pretty much casting it as an epidemic. There has been someone shot almost every day for the past several months. Im afraid of what that is doing for gun control right there. They are also broadcasting that "Its happening everywhere, not just on the north end of town (the poor side)."
