Re: What accessories???

Although I have a hard bow case, I never ever use it.

I did set up a little "accessaries case" though.

One of those little rubber maid parts organizers...

I keep all my replacement or "saved" nocks, old peep sites and tubing, brass nock points, spare sight pins, reflective tape pieces, felt pieces, bow misc hardware, Kwicky Kwiver mounting pieces, a few different spaces for different weight field points, etc. For tools: a small adjustable wrench, string wax, 2 screw drivers types, oh and the the allens wrenchs that fit the hardware on my bow.

It goes with me to the range weather thats in my back yard or at a shop somewhere. Just in case...

My 3D hip quiver also has bow and sight adjusting tools in it too when carrying this hard case is not feasable. But it also has a 6" scale (ruler) for rest adjustments in the field if need be.

I have a seperate hard shell plastic box with foam inside for broadheads but that stays in the gun room where I store all my stuff for hunting and shooting...

Re: What accessories???

i think Vt and carbon have most of it covered..

except for white out , a bow square , extra pieces of d-loop material , nock pliers and a small black marker to number your arrows ... the white out is used to mark on your string where the peep is located .. then you can see if it moved anytime..

its also great for marking your sight once its set and a drop on the top and bottom of your D-loop if your using one...

if your going to shoot a D-loop then get extra lenghts cut and have them handy .. the lengths need to be exact.. this is how you will perfect your draw length to an 1/8 of an inch....plus learn how to tie a d-loop on properly...if you using a D-loop then you wont need the nock pliers or nocks...

a small note book to log the draw length , draw weight , arrow length , arrow weight , broadhead weight , height from nock to peep...how high the nock is above level...string length , tiller measurement , brace height and bow serial number ...and any other specs on your bow..

you would be surprised how that stuff gets forgotten in a couple of years and when it comes time to order new strings you wont have to take them off to find out..

my biggest advice is get some shooting instruction from a good competition shooter in your area..you will find out that shooting form is absolutely critical in shooting well.. if you get started out right then you wont have to battle problems in the future...
