They are great for a begiiner shooter, but witht he ever changing styles, target animals and manufacturer's. You'd have to have a truck load of cards to keep up. A good set of bino's will suffice just fine. Example- Rhinehart targets have a blue million rings on them. I think it would be hard to determine if it was a road map or a reference card for a target, with all the scorings rings on the card. Good luck and keep practicing.
