okay i am dating myself but i remember songs like rag doll, the turtles and the young rascals and gary puckett and union gap and songs like secret agent man and stop in the name of love and my girl by the temptations and the miracles and lovin spoonfull

buffalo springfield and neil young and the list goes on for days but when i was a teenager i always listening to the hippest music of the times lol and it;s coming back today again so that is cool

These were all on the jukebox at the swimming pool when I was a kid. I can still smell chlorine and Coppertone when I hear them!

Anyone remember "Blackwater Hattie" by John Stamford? ( Think that's his last name) and "Lucieous Clegg" by Charlie Daniels?

Those two songs scared the crap outta me when I was little.

I found them!!! It's Lucias Clay/Legend of Wooley Swamp ( Charlie Daniels) and Swampwitch Hattie by Jim Stafford.

Scary stuff right there now!!!!!!!!!! shocked.gif

You mean "Swamp Witch" by Jim Staford. That was in the top 10 when I graduated from Collage back in 1974.
