Guest Andrea Posted June 12, 2005 Report Share Posted June 12, 2005 Last night I decided to go catfishing before Arlene came through and ruined the river for the next few weeks. I made the right choice. Caught 6 nice ones on rods and reels and 2 on bush hooks. Didn't get to fish for very long before the rain started. Seems like they hit as soon as the bait hit the water!! They weighed between 2-7 pounds. I know that's not big, but that's perfect eating size for me!!! BTW...they were channels. Caught them on chicken livers. Caught the biggest on a bush hook baited with a frog's leg. Gonna fry those jokers for lunch tomorrow. I'll take a pic first!! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
