JimPic
Re: Your worst gun Ulti-Mag 835.Had to have one and when I had one,I couldn't wait to get rid of it.Traded it for an old compound bow and some $$$ and gave the bow to a nephew. In respect to Mossburg,I had a 500 and that was a real nice handling shotgun. silvertip_co
Re: Your worst gun Back in 1964 when I was 14 I worked and scraped and saved and I ordered a Savage 99-C from Parker Bros out on Long Island. Back then you could buy guns thru the mail easy. It took me 6 months to get the gun. When it came i shot it and couldnt hit broadside of the barn open sights. So i sent it off to a gent I knew that was a dealer and he scoped it with a Weaver K-4. when I got it back I shot it endlessly trying to sight it in. No Luck. Finally my firend visited and I got him to check it our and he coulndt make it shoot to point of aim at 100yds either. this process took several months. Never could get the dang thing to shoot anywhere near anything so I swapped it for a LH Savage 110-D in 264WinMag and never looked back. Years later i bought and sold lots of diff 99 Savages in 243 but never again had the problem of one of them not shooting to point of aim. David_218
Re: Your worst gun The worse Firearms, I've ever owned: (1) Ruger Model #3 in .22 Hornet. Couldn't hit the side of a barn with it! (2) Another Ruger, this one a M-77/.22 Hornet. Not accurate even with handloads, stock was poor and checkering looked like a monkey did it. (3) A Winchester M-37 single barrel in 28 guage always shot high and I couldn't get use to it. (4) A Ruger "Mini-30" PIECE OF JUNK! not accurate about 3" @ 100 yards with handloads and worse with factory loads.

Guest Xen
Re: Your worst gun well, my worst gun on paper would be my BAR 7mm Mag, but 9 times out of 10, it only needs 1 shot for deer, elk, moose, or antelope, hard to fault that kind of success, even if it does suck on paper
bearcat
Re: Your worst gun I have had a couple. A Raven .25 auto, after firing a shot you would have to push the slide shut on the next round with your hand to make it chamber. A Dan Wesson .357 mag. After firing 2 or 3 cylinders full of ammo, the REVOLVER would fail to REVOLVE. I had to clean the gun thoroughly to get it to revolve again. I posted a while back on a Remington model 700 .300 Ultra Mag. It had a headspace problem(shallow chamber) from the factory. Remington is supposed to make good on it though. I guess any mass produced firearm,no matter how good the brand reputation, can turn out a few lemons from time to time.
CDubWSR
Re: Your worst gun luckily i havent had a bad one yet, and for being 18 i have my share. i can tell you the best two guns i own are a remington 700 30-06 with a leaupold scope that was givin to me by my hunting partner(one of my dads best friends), and my mossberg 835 ulti-mag. i have heard alot of people that have problems with the 835 but i guess i just got a darn good one. never had any problems with 3 1/2" shells getting hung up durring ejection and it throws a pattern like you wouldnt believe. the first bird i shot with it was at 50 yards b/c my friend didnt believe me that i would do it. dropped, flopped twice and that was about it.
