DSGB
I took a chance and decided to go bream fishing yesterday between rain showers. I went with my buddy to his uncles pond in Harris County and took my daughter with me. She caught more than he did! It helped that I put her in the best spot. She caught five or six. The action was so fast at times that I lost track of how many we had caught. There was two times when we had a double. She set the hook (not always good enough - she lost three or four) and reeled them all in by herself. Of couse they rapped themselves around the closest branch once she got it to the bank, so I untangled them and took 'em off the hook. She also caught the biggest one, a hybrid that was pushing two pounds. They have some type of hybrid sunfish and regular bluegill in the pond and they were thick. I think we ended up catching close to twenty in all and kept a dozen or so. We were ran off by a heavy downpour around 7 pm. Here's the little lady watching her bobber. (She missed a few by not keeping her eye on it, but she'll learn) Here's one of her bluegill.

[/ QUOTE ] That pic of my niece is from last summer, she lives in Missouri so haven't seen her since then. I wish her mother would send some updated pics so I can see how much she's grown.
