JPGS22
I've been bow hunting for a couple of years and need a better bow. I have a hoyt rebel right now, but I just can't decide between a mathews or a nothing hoyt. What do you guys and girls think?
maddhunter
Re: Which bow is better Oh No!!!!!!!!!!! Here we go. Lots of opinions on this one. I like the Mathews Switchback the best because it fit me the best and in my opinion was the quitest and the smoothest. AR makes a good bow also, shot one before I bought my SW, it would have been next in line. I LOVE MY SWITCHBACK!!!!!!!

tedicast
Re: Which bow is better Personally I would tell you to buy a Mathews Switchback, or Outback, and don't look back. But, we are all different. You need to shoot them, side by side if possible, and let the bow pick you. Every company makes some real good bows. Don't pick a bow because of the name on the bow. Pick a bow that you are comfortable with. You will nevber be able to shoot to your potential with a bow that just isn't "right" for you. Good luck. Guest grunter
Re: Which bow is better JP, Like it's been said, pick a bow that fits and you're comfy with. I was an Oneida shooter for the past 15 years and I've moved over to Renegade. I'm going from finger shooting to release - it's all because that Renegade just fits feels better than my Oneida. hutchies
Re: Which bow is better I bought a Parker Phoenix 32 on Monday. I would like to have tried out a Mathews but our local shop is always out of them or never open. I picked up a buch of different bows at Bass Pro and the Phoenix felt the best. [/ QUOTE ] I did the same thing recently and ended up with a PSE Typhoon....Thats the point we are trying to make here. What you like the most really is the best for you. You'll have more confidence in it and enjoy shooting it enough that you'll get very proficient with it. Who cares what brand it is???....other than the bow companies that is
hutchies
Re: Which bow is better I know a guy that shoots a 15 year old bows that can put arrows in a group the size of a softball. The key to the game is practice, practice, practice. Buying a new bow is not gonna solve shooting form problems but if you have good form and technique a good bow will make a world of difference.
