hutchies
Man it felt good not to have to go to a proshop to get my arrows fletched. Anyway put on blazers I will let you all know how they shot tomorrow. I used fletchtite platinum. Only thing I did not like it that stuff is really runny. What do you guys use the gel or just regular?
Tominator
Re: Fletched my first arrow today It's fun isn't it? I haven't fletched my own in quite awhile, since I switched to carbon that is. I used to use the regular fletchtite gel.
AaronS
Re: Fletched my first arrow today I switched to carbon a couple of years ago and haven't had the need to fletch since, but I'm sure I will one day. I used the regular fletchtite gel like Tominator on aluminum arrows and it always worked well.

hutchies
Re: Fletched my first arrow today A local pro shop(out of business now) here fletched them for me last time. The guy did a piss poor job on it too. Glue everywhere and they did not hold up at all. That is when I decided I wanted to fletch my own. Plus he only fletched 3 arrows(1 vane off on each) and charged me $15.
too_pointer
Re: Fletched my first arrow today Make sure to put an extra drop in the front and back of your vanes !!
Gator
Re: Fletched my first arrow today Hutchies, let me know how that fletch tite Platinum works for you. What kinda fletcher you using? And are these carbon arrows? I have been having a problem with both blazers and feathers not sticking in the middle of the vane.
