TreeWalker
I would normally put this in the classifieds, but since this ebay auction (not mine by the way, happened on it by accident) ends in 3 days....I figured I should reach as many of you as possible, who may be interested.......Clay Ebay Auction-Goldtip Arrows

MCH
Re: Pasin\' it on....great deal on GT arrows Great deals...I was looking for some Pro's but will probably purchase these also. Can't beat that price.

Ohiobucks
Re: Pasin\' it on....great deal on GT arrows Not a bad deal, but you can still get the same arrows at Mountain Archery ( www.mtnarchery.com ) at the same price, but shipping is a couple bucks less. hutchies
Re: Pasin\' it on....great deal on GT arrows How much of a noticable difference will there be between a .001 and .003 straightness tolerance? I am thinking unless you are a pro you probably won't ever notice a difference.

I am thinking unless you are a pro you probably won't ever notice a difference. [/ QUOTE ] I'm obviously not a pro...I couldnt tell the difference from my Carbon Express CX300's @ .0025 and my Bass Pro Shops Carbon Supreme 350's(made by Carbon Express) which are @ .004 My question is that since I'm shooting a relatively short arrow (26 1/2") would it make any difference at all??? Almost whipped out the credit card on this deal though....but its a new SKB bow case for me first! A man has to have his priorities right you know...LOL
Smitteken
Re: Pasin\' it on....great deal on GT arrows I'm not a carbon shooter but have been considering them. Right now i shoot 2315 eastons, pulling 70 lbs. Would the 5575 work for me? Will i have to get a new rest?

They are the "hunters". XT's are rated at .003. Either way, it's a good price.
hutchies
Re: Pasin\' it on....great deal on GT arrows Sorry my mistake but does anyone know how much of a difference it really makes. Max shot would be 45-50 yards. Will .001 be that much better than .003 or .006 for that matter?

hutchies
Re: Pasin\' it on....great deal on GT arrows Does anyone shoot supercarbon magnum arrows? My new Parker Phoenix came with 4 of them and they seem to be good quality. http://www.cabelas.com/information/Archery/SuperCarbonMagnumArrows0033159.html

[/ QUOTE ] 5575 means they are good from 55-75 pounds.........you shouldn't need a new rest, but you may have to adjust your nock point a little, if thewre is a difference in the two arrows diameter........chances are you will be just fine..... Max shot would be 45-50 yards. Will .001 be that much better than .003 or .006 for that matter? [/ QUOTE ] It isnt much to me. I usually shoot Goldtip hunters but last year I picked up a half dozen XT shafts for the same money. I could see some difference but if youre not shooting comp it shouldnt be that big of a deal. I can pretty much keep the hunters as tight as the XT shafts.
tedicast
Re: Pasin\' it on....great deal on GT arrows Thanks Iminrut. Thats a great deal. If they were XT Hunters, instead of Expedition hunters, I would have been all over a few dozen. Still a great deal though.
VermontHunter
Re: Pasin\' it on....great deal on GT arrows I ordered these arrows a few weeks back.....They are nice shafts but be fair warned these are the older style GT's,,,,they will come with tension nocks and the inserts are alittle different that the newer ones,,,but hey IMO for the price they are worth it.... maddhunter
Re: Pasin\' it on....great deal on GT arrows Well I got me some too!!! I shoot Vapor 5000s, not sure of the tolerances but I think these Gold Tips will do fine for the 3-D range, at $2 an arrow less than my Vapors!!!!
