jcwa
Re: coyote hunting [ QUOTE ] should i use a call or decoy and if so what kind ? [/ QUOTE ] The decoy won't do you much good if they do not know where you are, so you need a call. There are all kinds of calls on the market, from closed reed mouth calls to digital calls. It depends on what your willing to spend. For a beginner I would suggest getting a closed reed rabbit distress call to start out with, but an open reed call is not hard to use, just practice with it. Here are a few calls you can get at just about any sporting goods store. Primos Randy Anderson Signature Series Sceery Predator Calls Lohman Circe Cottontail Call Knight & Hale Ultimate Predator Call Decoys are used for distracting the predators attention away from you and adds the realism of prey in distress.
